Physical Attributes of Aventurine Aventurine is a form of quartz that has inclusions of mica, hematite, and goethite, with the mica inclusions being the most common, giving it a silvery green sheen. Other colors of aventurine gemstone include colorless, yellow, orange, violet, blue, and brown. The most common color variant by far, is green.
