Applied Kinesiology and crystals

Have you heard of Applied Kinesiology? Applied Kinesiology or AK is a method that can test crystal power based on the human body’s reflexes. Applied Kinesiology was originally conceived by George J. Goodheart, a chiropractor, in the early 60s and is now used by many chiropractors to gauge the health of the body based on the strength of muscle responses. You could think of it like a kind of body dowsing. It allows the subconscious to communicate with us through the body’s muscles.

Most of modern science dismisses Applied Kinesiology just like dowsing, because of its highly subjective nature. Nonetheless, AK has been used for purposes such as testing for food allergies, or if a certain food is beneficial for health or not. When it comes to crystals, AK can be used to “ask” the body if a certain crystal is good for us or not.

Testing a crystal with Applied Kinesiology

This Applied Kinesiology method to test a crystal can be done with 2 participants, one a tester, and the other a subject. The subject stands straight with his/her right arm extended and raised horizontally at shoulder height. The tester then pushes gently down on the raised arm of the subject with his/her right hand, palms faced down. This is just to test the subject’s normal muscle strength.

The subject now holds an object (like a crystal) in the left hand, which is the receptive hand connected to the subconscious part of the brain. The subconscious is supposed to assess and determine if the object held in the left hand is good or not. The tester then tests the muscle strength of the subject again by pressing down on the raised right arm of the subject. If the object is assessed as good by the subject’s subconscious, the subject’s muscle strength is supposed to increase, and vice versa for something that is assessed as bad for the subject by his/her subconscious. So if the crystal is beneficial for the subject, his/her muscles will strengthen, rather than weaken.

Our thoughts affect us in many ways we do not realize, and this can be proven with Applied Kinesiology. If you send good thoughts to a person or program a crystal with good thoughts, the person’s muscles will actually strengthen when holding the crystal. Applied Kinesiology can be used to test your compatibility with any crystals too, and this is helpful when choosing a new crystal or when deciding when a crystal needs to be cleansed.

Little do we realize that we are constantly exposed to negative elements around us everyday, and this weakens or strengthens our muscles, which in turn affects our health in the longer term. Applied Kinesiology may be beneficial in helping us understand the effects of our thinking upon our body and health, but I have to mention it may require a lot of practice to fine tune and get right so that we can get accurate readings from it. Using it in conjunction with crystals is certainly an interesting way of testing various crystals and their effect on us.
